Daily-sized themeless for you today — and I bet you'll be able to tell which entry was the seed for this puzzle. I don't yet have the qualifications (or audience) to repeat that phrase ad nauseam, but when I do, I will be an unstoppable force of truly awful humor.

In other puzzly news: I'm grateful to have gotten shoutouts from Deb Amlen at the New York Times Wordplay column and from Chris Adams at arctan(x)words — both excellent puzzle venues, as you may very well know. If you're newly joining me here, welcome! I promise my puzzles are free of germs (and usually crosswordese, too).

Take care, and enjoy!
